Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OttoSocial at https://ottosocial.org and our iOS/Android applications. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Service description

OttoSocial provides social media scheduling, AI-assisted content creation, and automated posting to X (Twitter) when you enable autopilot and connect your account. Features vary by plan.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must comply with X's Terms of Service and Developer Policy when using our X integration.

Your account & X connection

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your workspace and for all activity under your connected X account. You grant OttoSocial permission to post content you schedule or approve via the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate X platform rules, spam policies, or applicable laws.
• Post unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, abuse API limits, or disrupt the service.
• Use the service to distribute malware or conduct unauthorized automation beyond intended features.

AI-generated content

AI outputs are suggestions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving content before it is published. We do not guarantee accuracy, engagement, or compliance of generated text.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans and add-ons are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled. Prices are listed on our pricing page. Mobile app subscriptions may be purchased on the web at ottosocial.org unless offered through Apple or Google in-app purchase where required.

Refunds are handled according to Stripe's policies and applicable store rules. You may cancel anytime; access continues through the current billing period.

Free tier

The Starter plan includes manual scheduling and limited features at no charge. We may modify free tier limits with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

OttoSocial, its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us. You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content to provide the service.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED POSTING, X API AVAILABILITY, OR SPECIFIC GROWTH OUTCOMES.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OTTOSOCIAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or abuse of the platform. You may stop using the service and disconnect X at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction.
